100 percent success story of bridge course introduced in AMU for Madarsa Students

ALIGARH August 27: Twenty-seven students of Bridge Course for Madrasa pass outs in Aligarh Muslim University have created history by qualifying admission test for various courses in and outside the University in open category, while the remaining three students are in the waiting list, making the result 100 percent.
The novel course was launched by the Aligarh Muslim University last year on the initiative of the Vice Chancellor, Lt. Gen. Zameer Uddin Shah (retd.). The Vice Chancellor has expressed satisfaction and happiness on the exemplary success of the Madrasa students. He said, “This success justifies his faith that these students have immense potential if given an opportunity”.
Out of the successful students, Jalauddin has secured admission to BA Islamic Studies in Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi while Mohammad Belal has got admission to Tib in Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
One student, Mohd. Fahim Akhtar has been offered admission to BALLB while Abdur Rahim and Nayeem Akhtar have got admission to English, Atiqur Rahman, Atif Javed, Ukkasha, Zubair Ahmad, Irshad Ahmad and Ahmad Samani to Economics, Rizwanullah to Political Science, Haseer Khan and Junaid Alam to Islamic Studies, Sarwar Alam, Ahmadullah, Abdul Mubeen and Mohd. Asif in Arabic and Sharafat Husain, Abrar Alam, Ajmal Husain, Mohd. Noman, Musabbiha, Mushahid Raza, Razaq Ahmad, Mohd. Faizan Raza and Ahmadul Haq in Urdu in Aligarh Muslim University.
