Use summer vacation of your children for basic Islamic Education

An scholar of Jamia Millia Islamia had made an appeal to Muslim Parents to utilize the time of summer vacation for giving their children basic knowledge of Islam. He is providing some guidance through e-learning. A letter from Qasmi received on mail is reproduced under for the benefit of our readers- SMA
Dear Brothers, Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah
Summer vacation of our children has been started. Due to the current education system in the schools and colleges, our children remain unaware of basic Islamic knowledge. So, it is requested that the parents should avail this opportunity by giving their children the Qur'an education and necessary information regarding Tauheed, Namaz, Roza, Zakat and Hajj etc. I am sending a questionnaire of 250 questions with answers regarding the basic Islamic knowledge. Let your children read this also along with the other Islamic books.

 The fourth workshop of LAJNA ILMIYA "Isteqbal-e-Ramazan" is going to be held on Friday 22 Sha'ban 1435 (20 June 2014) after Asr prayer sharply. In which following 6 articles will be read:
1- Ramazan aur Roza. 2- Ramazan aur Qur'an 3- Ramazanul Mubarak ke Shabo Roz 4- Akhri Ashre ki Fazeelat 5- Zakat wa Sadqa-e-Fitr ke Ahkam wa Masail 6- Ramazanul Mubarak ke Baad
Suitable arrangement for women is also available. There is no fees for the program.

 Dr. Shafiq Ahmed Khan Nadwi has described some aspects of the life of a current great religious personality Maulana Abul Hassan Ali Nadwi (RA) (1913-1999) in his article (Arabic).
